Standard Body Materials & Components
Main Body Exterior
The main body compartment will be
constructed of 16 gauge stainless steel.
Compartment Tops
Compartment tops will be constructed of 12 gauge galvanneal
treadplate.
Doors
Doors are double panel construction. The inner panel is bonded to the
outer panel for increased rigidity and elimination of metal distortion
due to welding. The outer and inner panels are constructed of 18 gauge
A-60 galvanneal.
Door Hinges
Door Hinges will be rod and socket type. The 5/16 rods in addition to
the sockets will be stainless steel. This makes for a
maintenance free and corrosion resistant hinge.
Door Latches
Door Latches will be a rotary type latch, which is similar to the type
if latch used on car doors.
Weather Stripping
Automotive style mechanically fastened weather-stripping.
Shelves
Shelves will be constructed of 18 gauge galvanized steel.
Shelves will be one piece construction (no welds). Galvanized material
is used so that the shelves do not need to be finished painted.
Material Hooks
Material hooks are constructed of 3/8 round stock.
Floors
Floors will be constructed of 12 gauge treadplate.
Understructure
Floor understructure will be constructed of structural steel.
Six inch 8.2 lb. channel crossmembers in the wheel wells and 6x1/4
flats on the fronts, back, and the side access areas. By using flats
in these areas, all compartments are open for total adjustment of
compartmentation.
